"California Industrial Hemp Cultivation and Production Revitalization Project"

We are proud to announce and make available Hemp seed and Hemp biomass produced from our research farms.

Our research farms produced seed and biomass this year as we sponsored farms and learned how to farm this new crop.

The 1st year produced some great results, the many lessons learned will make the 2nd year even better.

The results of our "Seed Variety Trials" are now available for sale and use by farmers nationwide.

We operated the farms under the California specific law known as SB566, this law was updated last year in SB1409. We are members of the California Crop Improvement Assoc. (Member no. 8906) and the California Seed Association.

Under California law our farms were exempt and remain exempt from most regulations except for one, we MUST notify the Ag. Commissioner of our GPS location. This unique exemption is the same as a University such as UC Davis under California law.

This law has enabled research to be fast tracked in our state as the usual apparatus is slow to respond to our farmers needs to get growing sooner that later, in the currently exploding marketplace. SB566 and SB1409 have allowed us to help farmers get a jump start. Without us, California farmers would be 1 year behind in California specific experience with several varieties of Hemp. Kentucky, Colorado. Oregon and other states are 4 years ahead of us as are most states. This because California never sponsored pilot programs under the 2014 farm bill and under the 2018 farm bill (which removed Hemp from prohibition and made it just another USDA crop).

The crops herein were tested with ISO Certified Labs doing the analyisis. We maintained logs on the grows, and we produced reports for all the Ventura farms and crops. These reports are on file with our farm operations office and available to qualified parties.

We were a major sponsor of the iHemp Summit at UC Davis last November 30th, 2018 and at EcoFarm in January 2019.

We are proud to have had one of our Ventura seed farms visited by USDA Officials recently, on a tour that was created with the CDFA, and Ventura County Ag. Comm. Offices involved.

Recently, we signed an MOU to bring a Hemp industry plan to Imperial County, at the request of the Board of Supervisors.

The other listed farms such as Imperial County and Monterey County are under way fro the 2019 season.

If you have any questions about these crops, please contact our office through this site.
